Project Manager - Marius Smith

Marius manages and coordinates the Castan Centre's various programs, with particular focus on research, event management and fundraising. He most recently worked in Sudan as program manager for a relief and development project operated by the International Rescue Committee, an American NGO. Prior to that, Marius was legal officer for Community and Family Services International, a Philippines-based organization which was responsible for all refugees and asylum-seekers residing in the country. Marius has previously worked as a commercial lawyer in Melbourne for Deacons and Macpherson & Kelley and is currently studying his LLM in International and Comparative law, with particular focus on human rights.
