Access to justice: How much is too much?

Conference themes

Papers should be focused around the following themes:

  • Balancing the rights of vexatious (and other) litigants
  • Judge or therapist - dealing with persistent litigators and the role of the courts
  • Striking a balance - protecting the right of access to the courts, other litigants  from harassment and the courts from abuse
  • Using knowledge about the psychological condition of querulous people in legal matters
  • Different approaches to querulous people around the world
  • Human rights and the right of access to the courts
  • Retribution and vindication – can the legal system really satisfy querulous people who simply want someone to blame?
