Community Legal Services

A pioneer in practical legal training, Monash Law School operates a clinical legal practice program designed to serve the needs of the community, while also providing law students with valuable hands-on experience.

Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service and Springvale Monash Legal Service are the two community legal services affiliated with the Faculty of Law. Both provide free legal advice and helpful information to members of the public. Students are encouraged to participate in the operation of the legal services through the undergraduate unit Professional Practice program, where students work with clients under expert supervision and provide an important service to the community.
