Practitioners

A fantastic opportunity exists at Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service (MOLS) for practitioners to broaden their knowledge and gain practical experience while interacting with law student passionate about social justice. MOLS is recruiting practitioners to volunteer as Supervisors for a new 'Advice Only' session on Wednesday night. The session will be staffed entirely by volunteers who are required to attend once fortnightly.

Our practice areas are varied, and include family law, criminal law, motor vehicle accidents, debt, contract and employment matters, neighbourhood disputes and social security problems.

The Night Service begins at 7.00pm until approximately 9.00pm, and all clients will be seen by appointment only. Supervisors will be responsible for giving advice to volunteer law students who interview clients, and approve referrals to the Day Service where applicable.
