Monash Law ReviewJoining the Editorial TeamAs an editor or committee member of the Monash University Law Review you will have the opportunity to develop editing and legal writing skills, improve your research and reviewing capabilities and gain invaluable experience working on a publication that is recognised both inside and outside the Law School as a mark of distinction. Many leading members of the legal profession and academia are past members of the editorial committee of the Monash University Law Review. All articles are subjected to an editorial and refereeing process designed to ensure the quality of published articles. There are two methods for joining the editorial committee.
Applicants may be required to attend an interview with the current editors and academic advisors. Applications should be submitted by the 31st January for positions commencing in that academic year. Please submit a personal statement of no more than one typewritten page detailing your experience and the reasons why you would like to join the editorial committee together with a copy of your curriculum vitae. This can be either left in the Law Review pigeon hole in the basement of the Law Faculty, or email your application to the Editors, Monash University Review (law.review@law.monash.edu.au). Best of luck with your application! |
