Wendy Lee accepting the Corrs Prize

On 2 February 2007 one of the Law Faculty’s final year students, Wendy Lee, was presented as a winner of the Corrs Prize essay competition for the undergraduate category. The Corrs Prize essay competition was established to recognise Corrs’ commitment to exploring thoughts on important legal issues facing Australian businesses today.

Wendy’s outstanding paper entitled 'The Appropriateness of Moral or Ethical Considerations in Legislating New Technologies' was based on her LLB Honours research paper. She was presented the prize of $5,000 by Mr Phil Catania, the Partner-in-Charge of the Melbourne office of Corrs Chambers Westgarth. In addition the Law Faculty was also awarded a cash sum of $5,000 which will be used to purchase learning resources. This cheque was accepted by Professor HP Lee.
