Is the PDLP for me?

Students working at one of Monash Law’s community legal services

Real clinical experience

Monash Law prides itself on being the first Australian university to offer a clinical practice program, allowing students to work with real clients under expert supervision in community legal centres.

The PDLP integrates this practical program with substantive training. Most students in the PDLP attend one of Monash Law School’s two community legal centres where they interview clients and run files under supervision. This option replaces the need for the student to find their own work experience placement and allows students to work with real clients on real cases, learning invaluable legal skills while providing an important service to the community.
