The Monash PDLP is suited to Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) graduates who would like:

Online delivery
The PDLP is offered online with compulsory face to face sessions over 39 weeks.

University standard, experienced teaching staff
The PDLP offers students the benefit of being taught by staff with substantial experience in both professional legal practice and teaching.

Real clinical experience
Our community legal centres offer students the opportunity for significant clinical experience with real clients or, for graduates working within law firms, to use the experience gained in that work placement to satisfy part of the PDLP requirements.

A university qualification
Students gain a qualification from a prestigious Australian university which may be credited towards the requirements for a Master of Laws (Advanced Legal Practice) at Monash University.

An alternative
Monash Law’s PDLP offers an excellent alternative to currently available practical legal training options, such as the articles year or Leo Cussen Institute or College of Law/Law Institute course.
