Practical Legal Training
As a clinical law school, the faculty is committed to providing the highest standard of legal education and training. As such, our students have the opportunity to obtain hands on practical experience through our two community legal centres. Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service (MOLS) Springvale Monash Legal Service (SMLS) Undergraduate Practical Legal Training -Powerpoint PresentationDeveloped more than 30 years ago, the Monash Law practical training program for undergraduate students was the first of its kind in Australia. Under expert supervision, students work with real clients and cases, learning vital skills relating to the practice of law while providing an important service to the community. In 2007 / 2008 the following units in the Practical Legal Training program are offered in three separate periods (Offering 1 from December 3 to April 4, Offering 2 from April 7 to August 1 and Offering 3 from August 4 to November 28). Application closing dates are listed on each form and census dates are listed below.
