Research

The Monash Law School has a strong commitment to diverse and innovative forms of quality legal research. As a member of the Group of Eight research-intensive Universities, the School has a vibrant research culture supported by research ‘clusters’. Members of the Law School continue to produce influential research that is doctrinal, theoretical and law reform oriented and which attracts funding from a variety of sources. There are two research and teaching centres, the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law and the Centre for Regulatory Studies. Top students together with academic staff are involved in the publication of the peer reviewed journal, the Monash University Law Review.
